Qorviq rubbed his seal eyes with a flipper as the bright sunlight crested over the Alaska Range.

"Damn this Midnight Sun, damn it all to hell." Qorviq said aloud.

He’d had such a long week at the office he just wanted some shut eye, apparently that wasn’t going to happen right now. He rolled over and sealed down a nearby ice bridge to join a few of his friends at the bar.

“Hey TukTuk, what’s going on?”

“Oorviq! What’s up man? I thought you went home…?"

“Yeah. I couldn’t sleep.”

Episode 2 will be much better. I’ll be constructively dissecting the current issues surrounding both the overwhelming scientific consensus surrounding the global warming crisis and that of seal migration and colonization patterns during the summer months in the White Sea.
